Sometimes, even when obeying the law and observing the 100 meter required distance from Orca Whales, they come to see you. I usually shoot with a long telephoto lens, and then crop tightly, in order to share the magnificence of these amazing Orca. But in this shot, the whale forgot the rules, and surfaced so close to the boat that I barely got it's face in the shot!
